Epps starred as Day-Day Jones in Next Friday and its sequel, Friday After Next, and as Black Doug in The Hangover and The Hangover Part III. He also provided the voice of Boog in Open Season 2, replacing Martin Lawrence, with whom he co-starred in the comedy Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, playing Reggie, Roscoes cousin. He completes his schooling from the Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, US. In his 2018 autobiography, Unsuccessful Thug, Epps describes a childhood of highs and lows.
